Inventory planning tools and calculators
Six free inventory planning tools that run in your browser with nothing to install: reorder point, safety stock and economic order quantity calculators, a 90 day demand forecast, a Stocky readiness checklist, and a Stocky CSV SKU matcher. Every result is shareable as a link, and every formula is shown.
The tools
- Reorder point calculatorFind the stock level at which to place your next order so it lands before you sell out.
- Safety stock calculatorSize the buffer that carries you through a late delivery or a busy week.
- EOQ calculatorBalance the cost of placing orders against the cost of holding stock to find the ideal order size.
- Demand forecast simulatorProject your stock 90 days out and see the day you cross your reorder point.
- Stocky readiness checklistFive steps to have your inventory planning settled before Stocky retires on August 31, 2026.
- Stocky CSV SKU matcherPaste a Stocky export and see how its rows line up to Shopify products by SKU.
How they fit together
The three calculators answer three different questions, and they chain. The safety stock calculator sizes the buffer that absorbs a bad week. That buffer feeds the reorder point calculator, which tells you the stock level at which to place an order. The EOQ calculator then answers how big that order should be.
The demand forecast simulator puts all three on a timeline, so you can see the day a product is due for a reorder rather than only the level. The remaining two are for merchants leaving Stocky: a readiness checklist for the move itself, and a CSV SKU matcher that reads a Stocky export in your browser and shows how its rows line up with Shopify products.
Nothing you type into any of them is sent anywhere. The calculators put their inputs in the page address so a worked example can be bookmarked or shared, and the CSV matcher keeps your rows on your own device.
